That’s enough to feed 2 billion people per year if we reverse the current amount current food waste trends, which is about double the amount of undernourished people around the globe. 60% of this food waste happens at the household level. In this game, you have to save $10,000 by playing at both the household AND farm levels, as both are important to preventing food waste. You lose when you let the Waste Bin meter completely fill up. To prevent letting the Waste Bin fill up, you can compost for a small fee and earn some cash back back, similar to selling compost IRL.
